GAINSVILLE, Fla. — To help farm families struggling to recover from Hurricane Michael, the Florida Legislature passed a tax relief bill that included a rebate program for materials used to repair or replace farm fences and buildings damaged by the devastating storm.
In addition, Governor Ron DeSantis authorized a two-year bridge loan program for agricultural producers of field crops that were hammered by Hurricane Michael.
The deadline to apply for both programs is June 30, 2019.
