JEFFERSON CITY — The message from the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) is: we are grateful for the resources and volunteers offered, but it’s best to hold tight for now. The Missouri Cattlemen’s Association is in contact with the organization and cattlemen on the ground are reporting no immediate need for hay or cowboys. However, with over 1.2 million cattle in the 50 counties declared as a disaster area, there could be thousands of cattle displaced or worse.
