How to Value Your Business, Planning for the Future

This four-week series for livestock-based businesses will be held online

BELMONT, NY. — Cornell Cooperative Extension is excited to announce:

How to Value Your Business, Planning for the Future

This four-week series for livestock-based businesses will be held online. A team of Cornell Cooperative Extension Educators and guest presenters will provide tools to assess your existing meat, fiber or other value-added processing business, and assistance in understanding options for business expansion or transfer. Webinars will be held Thursday evenings, April 7th-28th, from 5:30-7:00 pm.

Session One: Valuation of assets, customer base
Session Two: Understanding Cash Flow, Marketing and Customer Communications
Session Three: Benefit of an exit strategy, identification of a successor, working with professionals
Session Four: Financial planning for the future, asset transfer, checklist

The fee is $100 per business, multiple staff from your business may participate in the classes, you may pre-register and pay online at https://reg.cce.cornell.edu/Value_Your_Business_202.
