MADISON — How do plants grow if there’s no sunlight? In this episode of Blue Sky Science, Andrew Jablonski, a master’s student in plant physiology, answers that question posed by 9-year-old Molly Lenius.

Blue Sky Science is a collaboration of the Wisconsin State Journal and the Morgridge Institute for Research. Scientific questions are posed by visitors to the Discovery Building, and the Blue Sky Science team then sets out to find an expert to answer the questions.
