Calfhood Disease: How Do Facilities Affect Respiratory Disease in the Young Calf will continue our series on calfhood disease focusing on facilities and respiratory disease. Join Penn State Extension educators as we explore how facility design and management can cause/prevent respiratory disease in the young calf. We will explore topics such as spatial requirements, bedding, ventilation, flooring, and overall management of young dairy calves and how we can try and prevent the much-dreaded respiratory disease in dairy calves.
