WATERTOWN, N.Y. — Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County will host an educational program, Home Apple Production 101, on Thursday, March 24 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the CCE office, 203 North Hamilton St., Watertown. Attendees will learn the basics of growing apples in the backyard: site selection, correct planting, varieties for NNY, pruning, and pest control.
