Holiday cheer blooms at University Farm!

The University Farm is located at 311 Nicholas C. Schouten Lane in Chico

CHICO, Calif. — Poinsettias and Christmas cacti grown at the University Farm greenhouses are now available to the public for purchase. The Farm will be open for holiday plant sales on Thursdays and Fridays from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Organic produce from the Organic Vegetable Project (OVP) is also available for purchase on Thursdays from noon–4 p.m.

Christmas cacti are in bud and bloom and priced from $8–$20, depending upon size. A gorgeous array of red, white, burgundy, marble, and tapestry-colored poinsettias are available starting at $5.

The University Farm is located at 311 Nicholas C. Schouten Lane in Chico. For more information or additional shopping times, contact Angie Handy at 530-781-2826 or by email at ahandy2@csuchico.edu.

While visiting the University Farm consider stopping by the Meat Laboratory, also open for public sales from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays.
