ALBANY — “The state’s Nourish NY Initiative has been a lifeline during this pandemic, putting food on the table for families in need while also supporting our farmers through the direct purchase of local farm products for distribution to food banks across the state. I applaud the Governor’s decision to invest an additional $25 million to keep this vital initiative going in 2021,” said Senator Hinchey. “As Chair of the Senate Agriculture and Food Committee, it is a top priority of mine to make Nourish NY a permanent fixture in New York State, which we’ll be exploring as the legislative session continues.”
