TROY, N.Y. — Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rensselaer County is hosting three trainings to help farmers set up their farm page on the Harvest Connection Website. Harvest Connection is a farm to table initiative where the goal is to help consumers find farm fresh products by giving them a website and app platform to find local farms and farmers markets.
When: February 19th at 10:00 A.M, March 4th at 6:30 P.M, or March 12th at 9:00 A.M
Who: Farmers Doing Direct Sales or Interested in Doing Direct Sales
We are currently working with farms and farmers markets in Albany, Columbia, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady and Washington counties. This free training is for current producers in our database and those who would like to join. The training will give you the information needed and a demonstration on how to manage your personal farm page as well as see how we plan to move forward with Harvest Connection.
We will have a training on February 19th at 10 A.M and March 4th at 6:30 P.M. The training on March 12th will go from 9:00-9:30 A.M, and then will be directly followed by a Social Media Marketing Workshop. All trainings will be held at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Office in Troy (61 State Street Troy, NY).
