IOWA FALLS, Iowa — Hardin County ISU Extension will host an Open House on Wednesday, April 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Hardin County Extension Office at 524 Lawler Street in Iowa Falls. The Open House will be a celebration of Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Week April 8 -13. There will be free refreshments and a drawing for door prizes. Myron Williams, former Hardin County 4-H member and a retired farm editor, will be at the open house signing copies of “Cornfield Chronicles,” a collection of short stories he wrote of recollections growing up on a farm near Iowa Falls in the 1960s. Copies will be available for sale.
