OKLAHOMA CITY — Class 26 of the Cattlemen’s Leadership Academy (CLA) is selling raffle tickets to win up to 15 guns. The proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the OK BEEF PAC, the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association’s (OCA) Political Action Committee.
“Only 500 raffle tickets will be sold, and winners go back in after each drawing,” said Kelli Payne, a rancher and member of CLA Class 26.
Tickets are $100 each. Two guns will be given away on the 26th of each month from December 2018 through June 2019. The final drawing will take place July 20, 2019 during the OCA Convention & Trade Show. All drawings will be on Facebook Live
“My CLA Classmates and myself have set a goal to present a $35,000 check to the OK BEEF PAC,” Payne said.
OK BEEF PAC funds are used to support political candidates who appreciate, value and fight for a healthy thriving Oklahoma beef industry. A strong and growing OK BEEF PAC is necessary in order to help elect candidates who are friendly and supportive of Oklahoma beef cattle ranchers and their livelihood.
“As a fifth-generation rancher, I wholeheartedly believe that supporting political candidates who have agriculture knowledge is vitally important to our industry and livelihood,” said Payne.
