BRYAN, Texas — To further expand and develop association insurance products and functions, Greg Lance was recently named Capital Farm Credit’s Director of Insurance Services.

Lance’s new role in the insurance department will provide opportunities to continue integrating the Insurance Services team into Capital Farm Credit operations.

“Crop insurance has been a product offering for nearly ten years at Capital Farm Credit,” said Jeff Norte, chief executive officer. “The crop insurance department was added with the acquisition of Agri-Insurance Agency in 2014.  Acquiring Agri-Insurance was a strategic move that has allowed Capital Farm Credit to enhance our relationship-focused lending practices.”

Lance has served as market president for the Plains Market and has been an asset to the Association.

“Under Greg’s leadership, we’ll renew efforts to grow the insurance services that we offer across our territory and better integrate our insurance products into all the services offered by the Association,” added Norte.

“I cannot be more excited about this opportunity at Capital Farm Credit,” said Lance. “I look forward to building upon the Association’s past success in Insurance Services and helping to manage its evolution into the future.”
