BOURBONNAIS, Ill. — University of Illinois Extension is hosting a Grazers Pasture Walk on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019, from 9 a.m. to noon at Grazin’ Haven Farm, 3148 North U.S. Hwy 45-52, Chebanse Ill.
Grazers will meet to walk and talk about pasture establishment, adding summer forages, watering, fencing and haying. Intensive grazing management and summer forages will be discussed.
After lunch, a tour of The Mill At Janie’s Farm is planned. Organic grains have been grown on this farm for over 15 years. The Farm mills and sells high quality flour.
