HARRISBURG, Pa. — Governor Tom Wolf will join Agricultures Secretary Russell Redding, Executive Deputy Secretary Mike Hanna, and a host of agriculture officials in highlighting the recent accomplishments of the PA Farm Bill during Ag Progress Days. Ag Progress Days is Pennsylvania‘s largest outdoor agricultural exposition, showcasing the latest in Penn State research, and providing information on best management practices and changing regulations in the agricultural industry.
Department of Argiculture will also host presentations at 10 a.m. each day
- Wednesday we will discuss the challenges and opportunities surrounding urban agriculture (and how the PA Farm Bill is encouraging those opportunities).
- Thursday we will recognize several families who have farmed their land for 100 and 200 years through presentations of Century Farm and Bicentennial Farm awards.
