WATERTOWN and LOWVILLE, N.Y. — Interested in raising chickens, turkey, ducks, or other kinds of poultry? Come to this workshop to learn more about the basics to help you get started. Topics will include where to get your birds, species and breeds, animal care and handling, health, and commodities from your birds.
This program will be offered on two separate occasions. The first will take place Wednesday, April 10th from 6:00PM—7:30PM at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County at 203 N. Hamilton St. Watertown, NY 13601. The second offering will be held by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Lewis County on Friday, April 12th from 6:00PM—7:30PM at the Lewis County Education Center at 7395 East Rd. Lowville, NY 13367.
The cost to attend this event is $10.00 with pre-registration, FREE for registered 4-H members, Veterans, and Military Family members. Admission will otherwise be $12.00 at the door.
