WASHINGTON — The American Lamb Board is supporting American Lamb producers, especially direct marketers, with promotional resources for their summer events such as farmers’ markets and consumer programs.
“Summer is always a busy time interacting with consumers,” says Gwen Kitzan, American Lamb Board chairman. “Many American Lamb producers attend farmers’ markets, consumer programs and community events, and we want to make sure they have educational and promotional resources to promote American Lamb in their local area,” she says.
As ALB rolls out the Outdoor Cooking Adventures campaign, producers can extend those messages, materials and efforts in their communities. A new recipe brochure featuring American Lamb as an adventurous grilling choice is available at no cost to producers. This free recipe brochure along with other low-cost items such as lip balm, notepads, spice tins and reusable grocery bags are offered to assist American Lamb producers with their educational and promotional efforts.
Hats and metal American Lamb signs are available for just five dollars.
New to the lineup of wearable promotional items are an outdoor cooking adventures t-shirt and a lamb cuts t-shirt. These are available for $15 each while supplies last.
American Lamb producers needing promotional resources can find them at LambResourceCenter.com.      Â
The American Lamb Board is funded by the American Lamb Checkoff and is charged with building awareness and expanding demand for American Lamb and strengthening its position in the marketplace, thereby increasing the potential long-range economic growth of all industry sectors.
