CENTENNIAL, Colo. — Senator Cory Gardner visited farmers throughout the Western Slope to talk about agriculture and the issues our farmers and ranchers are facing. He visited Blaine Diffendaffer’s greenhouses to see the operation and discuss agriculture. Diffendaffer is vice president of Mesa County Farm Bureau and was a good representative for the organization. He was even able to speak with Vice President Mike Pence on the phone about nothing other than…tomatoes.
Gardner also visited The Produce Peddler farm as well as the Flannigan, Hill and Terrell families’ operations. The meetings resulted in great discussions and covered many topics, including the many BLM issues that our members have been working on.
