DeBARY, Fla. — Learn how to incorporate wildflowers into your home landscape during a free presentation at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, in DeBary Hall Historic Site’s stable, 198 Sunrise Blvd., DeBary.
Howard Jeffries, a master gardener with the University of Florida/Volusia County Extension, will explain how easy it is to sow and grow these colorful blossoms.

DeBary Hall Historic Site, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is owned by the state and managed by the county’s Parks, Recreation and Culture Division. Tours of the 1871 hunting lodge are available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission prices are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $2 for children ages 3 to 12, and free for children 2 and younger.
