Fumigant applicators workshop Nov. 19

A continuing education workshop for commercial and private fumigant pesticide applicators will be held Tuesday, November 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the Hardin County ISU Extension Office in Iowa Falls. (Editor GoI Monitor via Flickr)

IOWA FALLS, Iowa — A continuing education workshop for commercial and private fumigant pesticide applicators will be held Tuesday, November 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the Hardin County ISU Extension Office in Iowa Falls. The workshop is for certified applicators with categories 7C (Fumigation) and 10 (Demonstration and Research) and will cover recognition of sensitive areas; pests, pest management and pesticides; specific factors which may lead to a hazardous condition; and pesticide labels.

The registration fee is $35 on or before November 12 and $45 after November 12. To register, contact the Hardin County ISU Extension Office at 641-648-4850 or toll free 1-888-648-5005 or register online at https://www.extension.iastate.edu/psep/Publications/RegForms/Fall/Reg-Fumigation-Fa19-fillin.pdf

The workshop is provided by the ISU Extension and Outreach Pesticide Safety Education Program (PSEP).
