VULCAN, Mich. — Dickinson Conservation District, in partnership with Melodydell Dairy and MSU Extension is hosting a Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop. Learn the proper techniques on when, where and how to prune your fruit trees. DCD Forester, Lawrence Sobson, and MSU Consumer Horticulture Educator, Rebecca Krans, will instruct the proper methods.
When: Saturday, April 13, 2019, 2 p.m. Central Time.
Where: Melodydell Dairy Farm (the McBroom Farm), N470 Thaler Dr., Vulcan, MI (approx. 2 miles south of U.S. 2 in Waucedah) – Directional signs will be put out.
What to bring: Bring gloves and pruning tools.
This is a free event, although donations are welcome.
Light refreshments will be served.
