MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. — Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange County (CCE) will be hosting a Small Ruminant Seminar for goat and sheep producers. This workshop will take place on Tuesday, September 29th from 5 – 7 PM online via Zoom.
Join Educators Rachel Moody and Jason Detzel as they conduct a parasite lab training along with parasite control techniques, including 5-point check and FAMACHA. There will be time for producers to ask questions and discuss other topics that are of interest to them with their peers. Grazing systems and forage quality are among topics that can be discussed.
So, pull up a chair and join us for an online gathering of producers for some parasite training and farm discussion!
This is a FREE program, but registration is required by Monday, September 28th. Upon registering you will receive a confirmation email with the link to join via Zoom.
