PITTSBORO, N.C. — Come join us on May 18, for a stroll through beautiful Braeburn Farm, as we learn from Beka Jopling about edible plants. We will take an easy walk from 9am to 11:30am around the farm, learning about wild, edible food that grows right here! Then we will all end up back at our big hay barn, where we will have a light lunch, including some yummy dishes you and your family could make from foods we foraged on the farm.
This is a family friendly event, and we welcome kids! The walk will cover less than 1/2 mile, will be on some uneven terrain, but should not be strenuous, as we will be stopping frequently to identify and gather some delicious edible plants.
