MINNEAPOLIS — This December, Grow North MN and partners will host its third annual Food | Ag | Ideas Week. This multi-day series of events was developed to spotlight innovative ideas and topics across sustainable agriculture, food innovation and tech, and food and society.
The event, held virtually from December 3-10, is full of discussions, panels and a virtual trade show tailored to serve entrepreneurs, farmers, investors, policymakers and food innovators. This year’s events will focus on the interconnected innovation happening throughout our ecosystem, deepen our understanding and address questions about the future of our food systems, and help elevate BIPOC and underserved communities. Registration is now open to the public: https://cvent.me/87358v.
“Although happening virtually this year, we are excited about the opportunities for everyone to hear diverse perspectives on a wide array of topics over the course of the week,” says Allison Hohn, Executive Director of Grow North MN. “This conference is for those participating at every point in the value chain of our food system, and I’m excited to welcome industry experts, executives, entrepreneurs, growers, investors, and innovators to share their experiences and hear about many of the cutting-edge topics of the year.”
This year, events will be tailored to three different industry tracks: Food systems, Agriculture and CPG. There is also an Entrepreneur Education day for food business newcomers and an Investor Summit for those who are active investors in the food and ag industry. Brewery tours, a minority virtual trade show, and two networking events including a showcase of BIPOC chefs and entrepreneurs (including two featured product boxes) will bring a more hands-on experience to this virtual series.
Registration for the event is now open. Visit this link to register: https://cvent.me/87358v. FAI strives to make world-class content accessible to all through low-cost ticket pricing, scholarships and additional resources. Explore these options at: https://www.foodagideas.com/scholarships.
