RICHMOND, Va. — Five Virginia companies will exhibit at the Americas Food and Beverage Show and Conference in Miami on Oct. 1–2. The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is sponsoring exhibit space for the five Virginia companies to enable them to network with the international industry and meet potential distribution partners.
The five Virginia companies include:
- Cassandra’s Gourmet in Woodbridge has offered gourmet rum cake since 2006.
- Keep it Simple Syrup by Chef Sous in Richmond offers all natural, flavor-infused syrups for use in a variety of cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, savory dishes and desserts.
- Little Wicomico Oyster Company is a family-owned oyster farm on the Little Wicomico River in Virginia’s Northern Neck region.
- Shenandoah Valley Organics is a family-run organic chicken company headquartered in Harrisonburg.
- Seven Hills Food, located in Lynchburg, is a wholesaler of premium, pastured-raised Angus beef sourced from Virginia family farms.
The VDACS Office of International Marketing and its international trade representative offices in Latin America and other regions around the globe assist Virginia agricultural and forestry products companies like these to identify and connect with profitable export opportunities around the world.

The Americas Food and Beverage Show is organized and sponsored by the World Trade Center Miami, U.S. Department of Agriculture and the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture. The show provides an opportunity for companies to showcase products for international buyers, as well as explore and network with the largest selection of food and beverage companies from the Americas. This year the Americas Food and Beverage Show will feature more than 450 exhibitors and attract more than 11,000 decision-making buyers.
