JEFFERSON CITY — Director Chinn welcomed U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue to Kansas City on April 28, 2017, just days after his Senate confirmation. In his first post-confirmation appearance outside of Washington, D.C., Perdue visited the USDA Service Center in Kansas City, and spoke at an ag town hall at the American Royal Complex hosted by the Agricultural Business Council of Kansas City.
In just more than a week, Director Chinn met with U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue and EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt to highlight the importance of Missouri agriculture.
