ENFIELD, Conn. — For those agricultural producers who received Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) funding, Farm Credit East is hosting weekly question and answer sessions to prepare producers to apply for loan forgiveness. In addition, each session provides updates on the most recent guidance from the Small Business Administration (SBA). These free sessions are hosted every Wednesday at 9 a.m.
Farm Credit East business consultants Erin Pirro and Keith Dickinson host these informational sessions. They discuss any updates to the SBA loan forgiveness rules and answer producers’ questions regarding the requirements for those who plan to apply for loan forgiveness after they have spent the PPP funds. Join a weekly session to understand the information you’ll need to collect to apply and learn the answers to questions such as how to determine the number of full-time equivalents and calculate hours worked for forgiveness eligibility; how to handle employees who don’t return to work; and more.
Join us on Wednesdays at 9 a.m. to have your PPP loan forgiveness questions answered. To participate in a weekly Q&A session, visit FarmCreditEast.com/Webinars.
