RALEIGH, N.C. (AgPR) — FarmTrade.com, the first and only online exchange for crop protection products, announced double-digit percentage sales growth year over year, season to date (October – June). FarmTrade.com was founded in 1998, under the name XSAg, changing its name to FarmTrade in the Summer of 2014. The online exchange allows buyers and sellers to securely transact business. FarmTrade.com does not take ownership of any product.
“In a season with unforeseen challenges we are excited about our continued growth,” says Jeff Stow, President of Farmtrade LLC. “We have increased in sales volume as well as number of transactions. With many chemical prices falling this year we are thrilled with our growth.”
“Farmtrade continues to see strong growth as both dealers and farmers continue to use the site for better prices and the security of doing business with our escrow protection process,” says Stow. “Many generic manufacturers have continued to use the FarmTrade.com platform to gain market access.” Stow continues, “this increase in manufacturer support has led to more competitive pricing for FarmTrade.com buyers at both the grower and dealer levels.”
Stow concludes, “It is a great feeling doing what we do. Our entire focus is on saving our customers money and facilitating quick and secure delivery and fulfillment.”
