SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Community members will explore a fresh perspective on food by visiting local farms on Tuesday, July 27. Participants will visit Windy Hill Beef Farm, Central Farmers Cooperative, Boadwine Dairy Farm, and hear from local veterinarian Dr. Corale Dorn about how farmers care for their animals. Guests will learn how beef is raised on modern farms, how local grain makes an impact globally, and where the dairy products they enjoy get their start. The free bus tour will give participants the opportunity to see a farm in action and speak with the farmers that grow their food.
