LEAWOOD, Kan. (AgPR)  — Farmobile LLC, The Independent Ag Data Company™, announces the launch of its Farmobile Services+SM for Ag Retail Fleet. The new offering, built with direct feedback from ag retailers, combines Farmobile’s real-time, machine data capture technology with personalized, advanced consultative services to help retailers use their own machine data to pinpoint fleet cost centers and opportunities to realize greater efficiency and profitability.

“Ag retail is an area that stands to benefit greatly from accurate, real-time fleet data,” said Jason Tatge, CEO of Farmobile. “Each ag retailer is investing millions, if not tens of millions of dollars in their commercial application fleet. The information available to them right now does not paint a clear picture about which individual machines are actually costing or contributing to the fleet’s overall performance and bottomline. If your $500,000 application rig is only making you money 22 percent of the time due to in-field operational inefficiencies, you’re possibly looking at significant losses. That’s why we created this service offering, and customized it for ag retail fleet management.”

The new ag retail program — the first in a series of future custom offerings to be marketed under Farmobile Services+ — transforms complex machine data sets into simple, powerful fleet insights. It goes beyond Farmobile’s standard data services, like data collection, organization and certification, and is tailored to help retailers identify areas for fleet optimization and profitability. The special service enables retailers to easily try or fully outfit a mixed fleet of application equipment and tender trucks with real-time visibility and monitoring capabilities, along with advanced reporting and customized analysis, so fleet management can be more efficient than ever before.

Best of all, customers need not be data experts to realize immediate and profound cost savings from Farmobile Services+ for Ag Retail Fleet. The Farmobile team performs all account setup, activation, training, Farmobile PUC installations and machine data services, including field boundary management and fleet and/or individual cost and machine analysis.

Under the expanded service, ag retail fleet customers receive daily, weekly and monthly machine metric reports through the Farmobile dashboard. Customized monthly reports show which machines across the fleet are making and losing money. Farmobile Services+ for Ag Retail Fleet provides deep analysis on how variables such as fuel, labor, transportation and idling and working time are all contributing to the overall bottom line. In addition, the Farmobile services team hosts quarterly consultative meetings with the ag retailer’s management and operations teams to review trends and provide direct feedback. Each package is completely personalized to the customer, so they get answers to the questions they need most — without crunching numbers or requiring yet another software system.

“If dollars matter, then details matter,” said Steve Cubbage, vice president of services at Farmobile. “This program was built as a simple, but extremely effective way to provide our ag retail customers with the ability to pivot during challenging times. We do this by providing the most personalized, granular machine data and insights possible to discover the true costs and returns of their commercial fleets.”

Farmobile Services+ for Ag Retail Fleet customers are already leveraging insights to better utilize their fleet and optimize leased and purchased equipment. After reviewing customized performance results, one cooperative decided to remove six machines from its fleet. Another ag retail operation identified ways to improve overhead at its satellite locations and increased the number of tender vehicles to more efficiently serve farmers and the fleet in the field.

“With Farmobile Services+ for Ag Retail Fleet, managers of both operations had the tools to identify machine performance and return on investment from a data-first perspective using comprehensive reports broken down to the pertinent details,”  said Cubbage. “When you know exactly what makes up a fleet’s operational costs, you can make bold decisions much more strategically.”

Farmobile Services+ for Ag Retail Fleet is now broadly available. To learn more or request a demo, or if you are interested in getting started with Farmobile data collection, please visit: https://www.farmobile.com/services.
