CONCORD, N.H. — Merrimack County Conservation District will be hosting a Farmer Appreciation Night on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 6-8pm. This event, held at the NH Audubon McLane Center in Concord, NH, will be honoring the farms that have supported NH Gleans and who are feeding local families.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the many exciting food access initiatives currently going on in their community and to hear more about NH agriculture from our guest speaker Lorraine Merrill, NH Agricultural Commissioner. Attendees will enjoy a buffet of locally sourced food and the short documentary, “Food for Thought, Food for Life.”
