BELFAST, Maine — Farmer and Grower Winter Potluck, Saturday, February 16, 2019 (snow date February 23). United Farmers Market of Maine, 18 Spring Street – Belfast, ME. The Waldo County Extension Association is inviting all local farmers and growers in the area to the third annual winter potluck in Belfast.
Tired of Winter? This fun filled event is a chance to socialize and learn with your fellow farmer and share some great food. This year the event will feature Glen Koehler from UMaine Cooperative Extension giving a presentation entitled “Farm Response to Changing Weather”. The potluck and social time will begin at 4pm and Glen’s presentation will commence at 5:00pm. So, take a mid-winter break and meet up with your fellow producers.
