FALMOUTH, Maine — Farm tractor safety classes taught by University of Maine Cooperative Extension educators and area experts begin April 5, 6–8 p.m., at Union Farm Equipment, 1893 Heald Highway, Union.
Additional courses are scheduled in Cumberland, Franklin, Oxford, Somerset and Waldo counties.
The multisession classes are designed for new tractor drivers and are appropriate for adults and youth at least 14 years old. Participants will learn how to handle tractors and equipment safely, and how to avoid hazards and minimize the chances of accidents.
