JACKSONVILLE, Ill. — Do you have problems with pond weeds? Do you have the type of fish you want in your pond? Has your pond had a fish kill in the past? If so, you are encouraged to attend the Farm Pond Seminar. This seminar will be held May 22nd, from 6 to 8 pm at the Morgan County Extension office, 104 North Westgate in Jacksonville.
Topics will include pond ecology and aeration, weed management, and fish stocking. Extension Educator Duane Friend and Illinois Department of Natural Resources Fisheries Biologist Blake Ruebush will be the speakers.
Registration cost is $10 per person.
