LEMOYNE, Pa. — The Pennsylvania State Council of Farm Organizations has taken formal positions on legislation advanced by Gov. Tom Wolf called the Pa. Farm Bill.
This package of bills includes aid to dairy farmers and agriculture youth groups, allowing farm equipment width authorization to increase to 18 feet from the current 16 feet, an emergency fund for disasters such as Spotted Lanternfly and avian flu, etc.
PSCFO was founded in the 1930s as an association whose membership includes both general and specific commodity agricultural groups.

PSCFO has taken two policy positions relative to this package of legislation:
- The Pennsylvania State Council of Farm Organizations endorses the Pa. Farm Bill in principle.
- The Pennsylvania State Council of Farm Organization supports adequate funding and staffing to implement programs incorporated in the Pa. Farm Bill.
