COLUMBUS, Ohio — To help celebrate Ohio Farm Bureau’s centennial year, The Shelly Company, Ohio’s leading limestone, sand and gravel, ready mix concrete and asphalt paving company, recently unveiled its newest “rolling billboard” featuring Ohio Farm Bureau.
The themed truck program is The Shelly Company’s community support effort that promotes nonprofit organizations. Each year, 28 themed trucks participate in more than a dozen community events throughout Ohio, such as the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life Chili Cook-offs, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K Event, Cleveland Metroparks “Touch-A-Truck” event, Warren High School FFA and Harbor House Domestic Violence Shelter Golf Outing.
The truck featuring Ohio Farm Bureau will be based in Belpre, Ohio but will travel statewide.
“Helping to celebrate Ohio Farm Bureau’s centennial is one way we’re able to give back to the farming community,” said Rick Kemper, Smith Concrete general manager. “We’re thankful to work with local farmers frequently and look forward to continuing these relationships.”
Ohio Farm Bureau’s mission is working together for Ohio farmers to advance agriculture and strengthen our communities. Learn more at ofbf.org.
