JUNEAU, Wis. — This week’s episodes of The Dairy Signal from Professional Dairy Producers (PDPW) will look to the future for dairy producers’ farms, animals and finances. On Tuesday, the discussion will center on opportunities and risks with automation and ag machinery. Wednesday’s “Rising Stars – Graduate Research Showcase” will consider automated calf feeders and feeding behavior, and the Thursday episode will feature discussion on retirement strategies for dairy producers.

Tuesday, November 29
A new generation of automation in agricultural machines and equipment has the potential to mitigate labor shortfalls across the dairy industry. However, the promise of these new technologies also comes with risks. Join the discussion for an overview of what’s ahead and how it might impact farms of every size. Episode presenter will be:
