COEYMANS, N.Y. — Join us on September 10, 2017 for Family Farm Day! Stanton Farms will be opening its doors to the public from 11:00am-4:00pm at 81 Biers Road, Coeymans, NY 12143.
Using the most modern practices in the dairy industry, you and your family can experience what it is like to be on a working dairy farm. Milking 900 cows and selling over 2.5 million gallons of milk a year, visit the farm and see how a cow is milked, what a modern dairy barn looks (and smells!) like, check out the tractors and equipment used on the farm, and visit with baby calves.
Experts will answer all your questions as you take a walking tour of the farm. Snap a picture sitting on a tractor, pet a calf, enjoy local dairy products, and have a hot dog or hamburger with Coeyman’s Hollow Fire Department. Experience agriculture with Cornell Cooperative Extension and the Stanton Family, a family farm 6 generations in the making.
This event is FREE and open to the public! Please contact Cornell Cooperative Extension Albany County with any questions at (518) 765-3500 or arp253@cornell.edu. We look forward to seeing you there!
