TROY, N.Y. — Please join CAAHP Team Farm Business Management Educator Dayton Maxwell for an evening of Fun Farm Financial Management Education, available at multiple locations. This course of study provides an overview of accounting and financial measures necessary for successful farm business financial management and how these financial instruments relate to business profitability.
Residents of Columbia, Rensselaer, Albany and Washington Counties are eligible for a full reimbursement of their registration fee, through scholarships provided by the Hudson Valley Agricultural Development Corporation (HVADC). Once residents of these counties have registered, attended and completed one of the class sessions listed above, you will be reimbursed by check for your registration fee.
Class discussion will include the budgeting process and thoughtfulness in spending and finance decisions. Participants completing this course will be better prepared to understand the financial operations position of their business and work with an agricultural lender.
