CARLISLE, Pa. — Learn about essential tasks to improve and enjoy your garden this fall! Join the Penn State Master Gardeners of Cumberland County for a free in-person garden talk titled “Fall Housekeeping in Your Garden” on Monday, September 12, 2022, 6:00-7:30pm, outdoors at the Trial and Idea Garden in Carlisle. Topics will include dividing perennials, moving plants, planting bulbs, fall garden planting, cleanup and more. The rain date for this event is Tuesday, September 13, at 6:00pm.

Walk-ins will be accepted if space is available. The program is free to the public and all are welcome. Residential gardeners and anyone interested in fall garden care are encouraged to attend this program.
The Trial and Idea Garden is located at the intersection of Army Heritage Drive and Claremont Road on the grounds of Allaire Health Services and the Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The address is 1000 Claremont Road, Carlisle, PA 17013. Parking for the gardens is available in a lot located just across and up from the garden on Army Heritage Drive. Please do not park on the grass at the garden site.
