HAMBURG, N.Y. — This fall, the Erie County Agricultural Society will bring back the Fall Harvest Classic Cattle Show, October 14-16, 2022. This will be the second year the Hamburg Fairgrounds will host nearly 200 cattle at one time. The 2022 edition will see the addition of the Hereford Classic Show. There will be over $8,000 in premiums and prizes awarded. The inaugural year saw competition from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Rhode Island.

The judge for the weekend will be Trae Simmons of Carthage, IN. Trae comes from a family that showed cattle on a national level, receiving championships in both the show and showmanship ring. He attended Butler Community College and Texas Tech, having competed on the 2009 National Championship Livestock Team. He now owns and operates Simmons Cattle Co in Indiana.
The show is presented by the Erie County Agricultural Society. Since its founding in 1819, the mission of the Erie County Agricultural Society has been to preserve and enhance, by educational endeavors, the agricultural and historical legacy of New York State.
