LOUISBURG, N.C. — N.C. Cooperative Extension of Franklin County is conducting a food drive in collaboration with N.C. A&T State University’s Small Farms Week. Extension at the Table aims to collect canned goods and nonperishable food items for the ingredients to make family meals. The food drive is conducted annually to bring recognition to and support our local small farmers. The food drive will take place through Wednesday, March 16, 2022.
Items collected will be delivered to a participating Franklin County agency that provides food assistance to families in need. All food that is collected will be delivered to a local agency in Franklin County on Wednesday, March 16. Anyone who would like to participate may bring donated non-perishable items to the Franklin County Center, 103 S. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg by Wednesday, March 16.
