The “Winter Wheat Production Workshop” will be offered from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, in Chambersburg, York, Lancaster, Leesport and Dauphin. This event is designed for new and experienced Pennsylvania winter wheat producers.

The workshop will highlight small grain integrated pest and cultural management practices covering the entire growing season, from planting to harvest. Participants will learn about variety selection, cultural management (planting dates, population and fertility), and disease and weed management (pest biology, herbicide and fungicide use).
