THE BIG SOIL HEALTH EVENT
Event Navigation
Our mission is to provide FARMER FIRST education, training and networking assistance to increase soil health and function, quality of life and ROI. We envision that through community support and producer empowerment we can improve generational family farming and ranching while regenerating the lands on which they operate. THE BIG SOIL HEALTH EVENT provides an expected 500 farmers, rural landowners, and ag Industry members with a ground-up educational experience. While many conferences inspire and teach, THE BIG SOIL HEALTH EVENT encourages and illuminates soil health practice adoption. It also provides practical boots-on- the-ground training for not only new farmers and early adopters of regenerative ag, but landowners and industry professionals as well.
THE BIG SOIL HEALTH EVENT features David Brandt, Jerry Hatfield, Loran Steinlage, Lance Gunderson, Rick Clark, Russell Hedrick, Mitchell Hora, Jessica Gnad, Sarah Varble, and Liz Haney. Topics will include cover crops, soil health measurement, soil fertility, intercropping, organic-regenerative farming, direct marketing. Special features include an Industry Panel moderated by Jessica Gnad and two breakout sessions. The breakout sessions are designed to give new regen farmers, landowners, experienced regen farmers and industry professionals working tools to take home to improve farming operations, networking, and opportunities for diversifying income streams.
