The Soil Health, Plant Health, Animal Health, Farm Health Connection –
White Oak Pastures is a six generation, 156-year-old family farm in Bluffton, Georgia that takes pride in farming practices that focus on regenerative land management, humane animal husbandry, and revitalizing the rural community. They know that radically traditional farming creates products that are better for the land, the livestock and the village. They are fiercely proud of their zero-waste production system that utilizes every part of each animal that is pasture-raise and hand-butchered on the farm.
Who Should Attend?
Anyone that wants to take their operation to the next level. This course will examine grass-finished beef, small ruminant, pastured pig and pastured poultry grazing & foraging. Hands-on experience will be heavily emphasized.
