Organic Rotational Tillage Field Day
Join The Land Connection and the IDEA Farm Network for an upcoming Organic Rotational Tillage Field Day in Paxton, IL on Monday, August 20.
This field day will look at the effects of rotational tillage in organic corn and soybean production. Nationally renowned researcher Steven Mirsky (USDA-ARS in Beltville, MD) will discuss best practices for using a rotational tillage system on your farm. Held on a test farm run by the IDEA Farm Network’s Will Glazik, you’ll learn of the successes and failures he has experienced as he has experimented with rotational tillage in his organic crop rotation.
