Details:
Program includes talks by researchers on work underway locally impacting area producers. Topics include: crop disease research on fusarium head blight and rhizoctonia in sugarbeet; wheat stem sawfly management, grasshopper outbreak predictions, and updates on invasive weeds and biocontrol options; diverse dryland and irrigated cropping systems incorporating soybean and no-till sugarbeets; new varieties of small grain and pulse crop varieties for both irrigated and dryland production, and high tunnel vegetable production.
Additional research will be presented in poster sessions, with scientists standing by to answer questions.
Listening sessions are also planned where participants can share their own research needs and ideas.

Event is FREE, but participants are asked to preregister for lunch sponsored by the Northern Pulse Growers Association.
