Low Input Lawn Alternatives: Getting Started – Year 1 (Online Meeting)
Event Navigation
Registration is required. If you have a disability and require special accommodations for this webinar, please contact Lindsey Christianson at ldc74@cornell.edu, or 518-429-8608 by October 14, 2020.
Hosted by Joellen Lampman (NYS IPM) and Lindsey Christianson (CCE CAAHP). In the fall of 2019, Joellen and Lindsey started preparing an alternative lawn demonstration area at the Albany County CCE office in Voorheesville. We will discuss what an “alternative lawn” is, how we chose our seed mixes (a variety of low-input and pollinator seeds), site preparation methods, seeding methods, what went well in the summer of 2020, and things we would change.
This webinar may be of interest to landscaping companies, homeowners, and Master Gardeners.
