KRC’s Annual Conference is recognized as a must-attend event by anyone involved in farming, ranching, community food solutions or other work in advancing alternative systems. The conference covers a wide range of topics, including practical sustainable farming and ranching techniques, local food initiatives and opportunities for involvement, legislative and policy updates and analysis, conservation practices and programs, farm planning, risk management, alternative enterprises, climate change mitigation strategies for the farm/ranch, and biodiversity-enhancing agricultural practices.  The conference also provides a unique and satisfying opportunity to network with farmers, ranchers, food enthusiasts, educators, agencies and other organizations engaged in creating a sustainable farm and food system in Kansas.
