NEW YORK — Year after year, the farmers responsible for growing our food get just a little bit older. But now the coronavirus pandemic has brought human mortality, and the need to prepare for it, to the forefront of many farmers’ minds. Please join GrowNYC Farmer Assistance and Harris-Pero & Botelho, PLLC for a review of the simple steps farm families can take to prepare for major life transitions.

Tuesday May 26 th , 1pm-2:30pm.
For senior generation farmers and their family.
Simple Estate Planning reviews the handful of basic documents that, in case of your illness or incapacity, appoint someone to handle your financial and legal affairs; appoint someone to make medical decisions on your behalf; designate a guardian for your children; and, upon your death, distribute your assets.
