KANSAS CITY — The United States Department of Agriculture is hiring for multiple vacancies at the Economic Research Service (ERS) and the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA). Both agencies recently relocated to the Kansas City metropolitan area, and are seeking qualified candidates for a variety of positions.
The Economic Research Service anticipates trends and emerging issues in agriculture, food, the environment and rural America and conducts high-quality, objective economic research to inform and enhance public and private decision making.
The National Institute of Food and Agriculture is the leading federal agency that invests in research, education, and extension to address current challenges and to explore future opportunities in food and agricultural sciences.
The USDA is hiring a variety of positions and will list vacancies as they become available. A full list of currently open positions will be available at the Career Opportunities Expo on Nov. 6, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Kansas State University Olathe.
